Our Food Project

Our Food Project started in 2016 when we were given the opportunity to be part of the Tesco Fareshare scheme, collecting food at the end of day. Over a short space of time, Greggs bakers, Asda and Aldi also allowed us to sign up and we were able to provide food bags through our Kids Eat Free Breakfast Club, our Toddler group and Lunch Club and also through a delivery service across our community.

COVID 19 saw a huge demand from people who found themselves unemployed to those who were shielding at home. With our clubs and organisations closing, we decided to take lunch out to our Lunch Club regulars and we have continued to provide parcels throughout lockdown and beyond.

A huge THANK - YOU for the generous donations of food and finance by so many businesses and individuals.  Tesco, Asda, Aldi, Greggs, Strathmore Foods, Saddlers, Guild Homes, Cashleys, Jeet, Kohe Noor, Rotary, Inner Wheel and an whole army of individuals - you know who you are - thank you so much! Also huge thanks to our dedicated team who collect, sort out and deliver all of the food - it's a huge commitment and it's really appreciated.

If you know someone who would benefit from a Food Parcel, please phone 01307 468585. Or if you would like to make a cash donations, please go to our donations page. Thank - you.
